The San Bernardo di Mares Refuge is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes and walks in the area. Here are some of the main activities:

• Main hikes:The ascent to the top of Monte Soglio (approx. 3 hours) is one of the most popular destinations for hikers.
• Short walks: For those who prefer easier routes with less altitude difference, we recommend the route to Cima Mares, which takes about 30 minutes.
• Balcony Trail: The hut is located along the scenic Alpine route of the Sentiero Balcone, an opportunity to admire breathtaking views
